Suri Tribe in Kibish and Tulgit,

Cousins of the Surma from Omo Valley, the Suri who live in Kibish and Tulgit (Ethiopia) were very difficult to reach as the roads were impassable and also dangerous due to inter-tribal armed conflicts. The Suri are semi-nomadic people who herd cattle on the west bank of the Omo River. Animist, they live like in the time of their ancestors, in total communion with nature, by fervently protecting their culture and traditions. Photographing them was a blessing, they instinctively posed with grace, which revealed a great deal of solidarity and love within their beautiful and inspiring tribe.
